Obviously, the vast majority of companies that were in operation during the pandemic are now either permanently closed or in financial difficulty. They are somewhat at the mercy of governments and the financial aid they can or want to grant them.
The large hotel groups, which had built up solid financial situations, are now in a very dominant strategic position. Aware that international tourism enthusiasts are currently gnawing at their brakes in anticipation of a return to a "normal" situation, they have the capacity to prepare their current sites for a recovery that is likely to be rapid and significant, in addition to taking advantage of the situation by expanding their offerings through the acquisition of sites whose owners no longer have the financial capacity to support the situation.
The situation is also ideal for the large-scale projects that are being worked on now and are expected to open in 2024. They will arrive in a booming market without the burden of the financial losses from the health crisis. They will be able to be more aggressive in the means they use to reach potential clients versus those who will have suffered from the financial debacle of COVID and will be under close scrutiny from shareholders and bankers.
Le retour des touristes en masse à partir de 2023.
" La reprise mondiale s’annonce rapide et significative"
"2024 devrait marquer l’entrée dans nos années folles, post-pandémiques."
